Few video games in history have garnered the fervent anticipation surrounding Hollow Knight: Silksong. Team Cherry's sequel to their 2017 indie masterpiece promises to expand upon every dimension of the original metroidvania, with Hornet embarking on a perilous ascent to the citadel of Pharloom.

Hornet’s Acrobatic Fluidity vs. The Knight

While the original Knight in Hallownest was grounded, measured, and reliant on deliberate nail slashes, Hornet moves with blinding acrobatic speed. She can sprint, mantle ledges, vault over charging foes, and diagonal-dash through airborne hazards.

Healing has also been fundamentally transformed. Instead of slowly focusing Soul while standing stationary, Hornet spins a spool of Silk to instantly restore three masks of health mid-air—provided you have fully filled her Silk spool through aggressive offensive strikes.

  • A Kingdom of Silk and Song: Explore over 165 entirely new insect denizens across Moss Grotto, Deep Docks, and the Gilded City.
  • Craftable Crest Tools: Equip bone needles, razor-wire traps, and sting-shards into customizable crest loadout slots.
  • Flea Caravan Quests: Rescue lost flea wanderers across Pharloom to unlock rare map pins and fast travel caravans.
